Happy Smiles to participate in Canada Day Parade

Bring me your kids!

Happy Smiles Studio will be participating in the Canada Day Parade this year! I am looking for about 20 children from 0 to 18 years to walk as a group in the parade, holding 16 x 20 pictures that I have taken of them. Parents are also invited to walk with their small children and carry their picture in the case of babies.

The photo sessions will be free!! Email me at ginny@nbnet.nb.ca to sign up. First come, first served. You will also have an opportunity to buy the photos after the parade at a ridiculous discount!

View My Calendar for Availability

I've just created an online calendar to make it easier for people who would like to book my services to see if I'm available on certain dates. I haven't put all my appointments in yet because I just want to see if it works.

To check out my calendar, follow this link:
http://cid-ef6e6c0ec8622a0f.calendar.live.com/calendar/Happy+Smiles+Bookings/index.html

If you wish to book me, email me at enterprises@nb.aibn.com and I will schedule you in.

If you are having difficulty with the calendar, please let me know as I am new at this and may have done something wrong ;-)

Have a nice weekend everyone, and I hope you all stay dry and away from the flood!

My niece Ally

Keeping this blog up to date is not as easy as it sounds! I promised myself I would blog after every session, but I'm already falling behind. Sheesh, it's just like a New Year's resolution! It sounds good at the time, but keeping it up can be a bit of a challenge at times. I'll try to do better .... I'll also try to lose 10 lbs..... Gee, I wonder which one will happen first! LOL

Without further ado, here's a couple of my favourite shots of my beautiful niece Ally (and her mom Leslie).

Kerri's Family

I've been photographing Kerri's children pretty much since they were born. Here's a few recent ones. They are so fun to photograph, and so cute! Enjoy!

Told you they were cute!

Wedding Pictures - Stacey & Michael

As promised, here are some of my favourite pictures from the wedding of Stacey and Michael on March 7, 2009. The wedding and reception took place at Kingswood Centre - very romantic with their huge fireplace. Very nice staff too. Good luck to Michael who is presently training to become a member of the RCMP.

Stacey & Michael - Wedding Rehearsal

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Stacey McGee & Michael Thompson. This was my first wedding for the 2009 season. As much as possible, whenever I'm asked to shoot a wedding, I like to attend the rehearsal. I also like to take the opportunity to take one last formal shot of the couple as "single" people before they take their vows, usually the next day or so.

Here's a couple of shots taken at the rehearsal, including their precious little girl, Taylor. I will be posting some photos from the actual wedding in a couple of days.

Welcome to my new blog!

February 21, 2009
I am revamping my website, especially my blog. The old one was too hard to edit and made it more difficult for me to keep it up-to-date. I think this will be better.
Please come and check often to see what I've been up to.
Here's photos of my latest session. I have done 3 sessions with Marco, a student at Leo Hayes. I love working with him, he is definitely model material!
